Deen's last day

Tue May 4, 2004, 7:43 PM
I been sick over the weekend, and didn't go to school yesterday, but I did go today. I went home, but not before saying a final farewell to Mr. Deen (my English student teacher), whose last day was supposed to be Friday. Mr. Blair (my real English teacher) told us last week that we'd be having a timed writing today. When we got to class today, Blair said "Here's your timed writing.", and into the class came Mr. Deen! We were all so happy. Not just happy that there was no timed writing, but that we'd get to see Mr. Deen one last time. He wrote everyone in each of his classes their own personal note. My said:
"Danielle,
Let me start by saying it brought a smile to my face to see you at the play the other night. You are an amazing young woman who I know will go extremely far in life because you have what it takes. Thank you for being suck a positive force in my classroom, for the pleasure was all mine. I will never forget all the laughs you and Jenn have shared and the way the two of you ripped into one another on a constant basis. You have the uncanny ability to bring a smile to my face, and in my times of darkness, I appreciate you being such a bright spot. Always stay true to who you are, and never deviate from that path. You are bound to be successful because of who you are. I thank you for all the memories and all the laughs. You are a beautiful soul on every level. I wish you nothing but the best.
All my love,
-Michael-"

Ain't that great? That actually stopped my asthma for a whole 5 minutes, hehe. Then we put on some Michael Jackson music, and talked to him for the rest of the period. He told us a little story about what happened to him in a youth hostel in Amsterdam a couple years ago when he backpacked Europe. I missed the beginning, but where I came in, he was talking about some guy pissing all over his friend Jessie one night while he was sleeping. So somewhere in there, there was a lesbian who punched someone (I didn't get that part), and Mr. Deen's friends staring at the guy pissing, and then just standing there picking his nose. So anyways, the next morning, Deen and one of his friends pissed in that guy's backpack!! The way he told it, it was so great, hehe.

Work sucked today. I learned to do returns today. My cleanup department today was Shoes & Accessories which looked like something exploded in it. It took me a while to get sections to look nice, so the assistant manager came over to me and said "I know you're all mellow right now, but can you please pick up the pace?" The last thing I was was mellow!! I was so stressed out because I was stuck by myself in that huge department making sure every pair of shoes was placed perfectly with all of its size, etc... So then I rushed through everything, but it didn't look as nice.

I also got my volunteer papers so I can volunteer at the hospital this summer, yay!:D

Very nice work. As for your snapshots/pictures, maybe you should try to sharpen them. Could just be my eyes(noo!) but I think they are pretty blurry. Also, try to fix em up more. MSpaint is good for that, if you don't have a pro editing program. ^^

That's what I wanna be able to do, but I can't figure good methods to do it.:fork: Do you have any suggestions? How does MSPaint help? It barely has any functions. I use PSP7 and PS7.
:iconhiei-mi:
Actually, I like using PSP8, but some people can't afford it. MSpaint can help, but I haven't mastered it yet. Anyway, try messing around with the functions one day. Don't look for anything particular. Make sure you write down exactly what you did to get that look.

Really? I prefer PSP7 to PSP8. I've tried both programs before.
:iconhiei-mi:
I don't really have a choice. This isn't my computer, so I just use whats on it.

No prob, I just love all your stock images.:D I would post what I did with some of them here, but you're not allowed to post celeb style stuff unless the pics are your own, so... But if you would like to see, I can give you the url to the collages from my site.:)
